<options >
Options: This menu offers
choices for automatic
incrementing and filling of
the id and owner fields of a
cassette label, and for
selecting the printer port.
<color >
Color: This option toggles
the color display ON/OFF.
If color is OFF, all menus
and windows will be
displayed in black and
white.
<dstrike >
Double Strike: This option
toggles the double strike
print mode ON/OFF. If double
strike is ON, the cassette
label is printed in the
double strike mode.
<idinc >
Id Increment: This option
allows you to toggle id
incrementing ON/OFF. If id
increment is ON, the id
field of the cassette label
will be automatically
incremented whenever you
clear all fields of the
cassette label, provided
that the id field contains a
number before the clear is
performed.
<ownfill >
Owner Fill: This option
allows you to specify a name
which will be used to
automatically fill the owner
field on the cassette label.
Every time you clear all
fields of the cassette
label, the owner field will
be filled with this name.
<owner >
Enter the name of the owner
of the cassette tape(s).
<prtport >
Printer Port: This option
allows you to select the
port to which printer output
is sent.
<saveopts>
Save Options: This command
saves the current options.
These options are
automatically retrieved
whenever this program is
run.
<file >
File: This menu offers
choices for loading a
cassette label from an
existing file, and saving
the current label to a file.
<load >
Load: This command allows
you to load a cassette label
from an existing file.
<loadfile>
Enter the name of the file
that you want to read a
cassette label from. The
file name must be in the
following format:
NAME.EXT
where NAME consists of 1 to
8 characters, and the
optional EXT consists of 1
to 3 characters.
<save >
Save: This command allows
you to save the current
cassette label in a file.
<savefile>
Enter the name of the file
that you want to write the
current cassette label to.
The file name must be in the
following format:
NAME.EXT
where NAME consists of 1 to
8 characters, and the
optional EXT consists of 1
to 3 characters.
<edit >
Edit: This command allows
you to enter new information
or change the existing
information in the current
cassette label.
<title >
Enter the name of the album
for the indicated side.
<artist >
Enter the name of the artist
for the indicated side.
<song >
Enter the name of a song for
the indicated side.
<count >
Enter the beginning count of
the song on the tape for the
indicated side.
<view >
View: This menu offers
choices for displaying and
printing the current
cassette label.
<display >
Display: This command will
display the current cassette
label on the screen. After
it has been displayed, press
any key to return.
<print >
Print: This command will
print the current cassette
label. Before invoking it,
ensure that the printer is
on-line and that the top of
form is aligned correctly.
<quit >
Quit: This command will
return you to DOS. Pressing
the ESC key when the cursor
bar is on one of the
selections of the horizontal
menu will also quit.
